profiling the middle schools of the Minneapolis Public Schools, giving academic
performance, student population data, and contact information. This and many other recent and looming
articles foreshadow matters covered in my book, Fundamentals of an Excellent Liberal Arts Education, due in

There are eight middle schools in the
Minneapolis Public Schools, in addition to the K-8 schools that encompass the
typical middle grades 6-8.
