the department dismantled in spring 2017 known as the Department of Community,
family, and Student engagement. The
department consisted of approximately 15 staff member4s for a humber of years
prior to 2017; the similar department

of Communications, Engagement, and External Relations features the following

Office of Communications, Engagement, and External Relations is proud to
partner with students, families, and the greater community to ensure the best
possible education for all of our children.
The fact of our office incudes our network of family liaisons, wo
facilitate communication between schools and families, and staff at MPS family
resource centers, where information on services and programs supporting
parenting and family assistance is provided.
