Community Education programs of the Minneapolis Public schools transpire at various locations.  The two main campuses are those on West Broadway (across from Cub Foods) and East Lake Street (just east of Hiawatha Avenue and not too far from South High School).  Programs serve both youth and adults, and there is a school age child care program.

Minneapolis Adult Education offers free classes in the morning and evening for GED testing, GED prep classes, English Language Learning and Career Pathways.
We have both North and South locations. Please call the location for information about how to register.

Minneapolis Kids

Minneapolis Kids provides high quality school age child care for families. We offer a safe, nurturing, educational and recreational experience where children are encouraged to pursue interests and develop friendships, independence, and confidence.
 
 
Reserve Space in the Minneapolis Public Schools

We encourage the use of school district facilities for community meetings, festivals, plays, workshops, youth and adult sports and other events. Use the Online Facilities Reservation System to make a request.
