As readers scroll on down this
blog, you will find many articles immediately following and on through my 1500
or so entires much evidence of my book, Understanding
the Minneapolis Public Schools: Current
Condition, Future Prospect, by which I will take the Minneapolis Public
Schools down piece by piece.
Piece by piece.
As the hard rain falls.
Piece by piece.
The incompetent staff members at
the Minneapolis Public Schools have at least since 1980 academically abused the
students whom they have a sacred obligation to provide excellent education.
The abuse has gotten worse over
time.
At this point, departments and
divisions that are not to germane to the core academic program, those involving
finance and information technology especially and also operations, are
well-run. But those articulating and
implementing the academic program at the core of any locally centralized school
district’s reason for being are abominably incompetent.
The district has neither the
personnel capable of defining excellent education or imparting such an
education in the classroom. Both
academic decision-makers and classroom teachers are the products of education
professors, the least regarded constituent members of any college or
university’s professorial staff. Central
office (Davis Center, 1250 West Broadway) members of the Academic Division and
the central unit of that division (Department of Teaching and Learning),
associate superintendents, and site-based principals and teachers are abysmally
incompetent.
Accordingly, these staff members
should be especially aware that I am going to take your departments and your
sinecures apart piece by piece:
Superintendent Ed Graff
Deputy Chief of Academics,
Leadership, and Learning Cecilia Saddler
Executive Director of Teaching
and Learning Aimee Fearing
Office of Black Male Achievement
Director Michael Walker and staff
Executive Director of the
Department of Indian Education Jennifer Simon and staff
Associate Superintendents
Shawn Harris-Berry
Lashawn Ray
Ron Wagner
Carla Steinbach-Huther
Brian Zambreno
All of those ineffective school
site principals whom the above incompetent group of associate superintendents are
supposed to mentor but cannot
Michelle Wiese and Staff at the
Minneapolis Federation of Teachers
All of those classroom teachers
who hand out worksheets, packets, and show videos rather than teaching
The above group and those like
them have academically abused the students of the Minneapolis Public Schools
for too long >>>>>

the structure of the Minneapolis Public Schools and the sinecures occupied by
the above group of academic abusers down piece by piece---
