The MPS Department of Marketing and Communications is led by Executive Director Julie Schultz Brown, newly elevated to status among the leaders of the Minneapolis Public Schools.  The comparable position briefly had the more designation of “Chief,” was vacant for a long while as Chief of Staff oversaw communications matters as part of her expansive profile of responsibilities, then was returned to the “executive director” designation and a position among the leadership at a level just below the “Chief” category.
