Transportation Services at the Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) is one of the many functional areas under the administrative leadership of the very able and experienced Chief of Operations Karen DeVet.  Currently, transport of MPS student is encountering a severe challenge in the form of an acute driver shortage.  The district works with the metro bus system to get discounted tickets for the transport of high school students but directly provides transportation to most preK-grade 8 students.

MPS Transportation Services is led by Scott James.

Bus Change Calendar

Changes to bus routes happen every three days, although not all routes experience a change. Refer to the calendar to help identify when a change may happen to your student's route.

School Transportation Coordinators will notify families when a change affects your student's route (pick up or drop off time, bus stop change, etc).
