Anthony---
Your two articles in the Star Tribune today manifest your typical naivete.
Credit recovery programs are academically insubstantial means to give out student credit for very little knowledge or skill gained. St. Paul officials conveyed to you the usual bromides but offered very little evidence of student knowledge and skill acquisition.
Heather Mueller has not a single degree in a key subject area and is in no position to evaluate knowledge and skill acquisition; she and Governor Walz are part of the DFL/Education Minnesota cohort via which legislators are politically purchased. Little evidence is provided of student knowledge and skill acquisition in the six schools receiving awards; if the standards follow the intellectually corrupt North Star Accountability System, the awards mean nothing.
As always, the brutal reality lurks behind the facade, in the questions that you do not ask and the actuality that you do not convey---
With best wishes---
