Lee---
Kashkari's efforts to understand unemployment among the urban poor
are commendable, but his comprehension is thus far limited: While he and
Page have grasped the connection to insubstantial K-12 education, their
proposed constitutional amendment was facile.
Until we address the key vexations of knowledge-bereft curriculum,
poor teacher quality at the median, insubstantial academic training of
intellectual lightweights such as Ed Graff and Joe Gothard, and dearth of
school district staff comfortable on the streets and in the homes of those
struggling with dilemmas of familial economy and functionality, income
employment inequities will remain.
And no one at the >Star Tribune< cares---
With best wishes---

Hi Gary,
You were doin’ just fine up until “And no one at the >Star
Tribune< cares---"
We get tons of just plain hatemail, more than ever it seems, so I
doubt anyone copied on this could be offended. I am just pointing out that if
you want to be effective, you can do better.
Best
Best wishes,
