A Note on the Subtext in >Star Tribune< Writer Mara Klecker's 30 September 2021 Story on MPS South High School Principal Brett Stringer's Lapsed License

Brett Stringer's Insubstantial Academic Credentials Constitute the Important Story

>Star Tribune< staff writer Mara Klecker filed her typical serviceable mediocre story in today's edition, focused on MPS South High School principal Brett Stringer's reassignment (he's now part of the burdensome Dsvis Center [central office] bureaucracy) due to a lapsed administrator's license.  

But the University of Minnesota/Mankato is a degree mill for prospective teachers and administrators, so the courses Stringer will be taking for his license are academically insubstantial, as is Stringer's other coursework.  

His undergraduate degree in English gives Stringer a bit more academic heft than most MPS principals, but his only graduate work is in education, rather than in key subject areas.
