Anthony---
Lurking behind the obvious in your serviceable mediocrities is
always the actual story >>>>> a superintendent
bereft of academic training (no training in a key subject area, all degrees
received at obscure Edgewood College, including a laughable degree-mill
doctorate); a school board bought and paid for by the SPFE, which feigns
interest for students on Covid but resists meaningful academic change while
representing woefully trained teachers; a system that produces an ignorant
citizenry including the 37% SPPS staff members who resist sensible health
mandates.
Your articles ever cover the obvious, arguably serviceable but
never creative or insightful--- much like those of Mara Klecker, Erin
Golden, and biweekly columnist Myron Medcalf.
Readers know that they must go to my blog for exhaustive research,
incisive inquiry, revealing data, and focus on those vexatious issues that
perpetuate cyclical poverty at the urban core---

Jenny---
Your story is the typical
serviceable mediocrity observed at the >Star Tribune<, ever missing the
sub-textual, exponentially more significant reality, in this case,
>>>>> the
comical existence of a Department of Learning and Teaching, full of
academically insubstantial central office hacks who possess no advanced
degrees in core subject areas;
>>>>> the
student teachers who will go forth from a degree mill to ruin so many
children's lives;
and
>>>>> the
wretched education that awaits pre-K students as they move through grades 1-12.
Readers know that they must go
to my blog for the truth behind the facade---
With best wishes---

Libor---
Year after year, decade after
decade, organizations such as Project Life and Next Step emerge with band-aids
applied to academically abused community members whose lives are lived out on
mean streets or in prison due to wretched public education, which hack
reporters at the >Star Tribune< abet with their variously ignorant,
in-denial, or intellectually corrupt journalism.
Readers know that they must go
to my blog to get the facts and analysis pertinent to cyclical poverty at the
urban core.
With best wishes---

Jennifer---
Minneapolis Public Schools Board
of Education members receive $20,000 per annum, a significant income supplement
for all of them.
Board members are with two
exceptions in this MPS iteration political hacks who tacitly promote
knowledge-deficient curriculum and poor teacher quality at the medium.
Wretched public education
produces the ignorant citizenry that issues complaints that never pertain to
the core mission of any locally centralized school district.
And no one at the >Star
Tribune< cares.
With best wishes---

Erin---
As is your wont, you missed the
real story, which is that students at overrated Eden Prairie fail the grade 11
math MCA in droves and though well-regarded by paltry USA standards would be
laughable as a high school in Singapore or Taiwan; and that Lakeville
South features weak curriculum as led by academic lightweight principal Shaun
Murphey (no graduate degrees in key academic areas, those received from the
degree mill at St. Thomas), whose pseudo-philosophy of education devalues
specified knowledge sets---

Jenny---
There are many telling signs in
Jeffrey Ridlehoover's comments, career, and training that identify him as an
establishment figure who has and will perpetuate the woeful K-12 system as it
is.
Sartell, by the way, is a locus
of one if the six farcical Regional Centers of Excellence.
Not knowing the pertinent
questions to ask impedes journalistic inquiry and the conveyance of
foundational truths---

Jana, Zoe, and Erin
Alway there abides a
non-academic issue to obscure the key vexations that will send
knowledge-deficient graduates across the stage to claim a piece of paper that
is a degree in name only, going forth to comprise the ignorant citizenry that
such a system produces---

Erin, Mara, and Anthony---
The truly important story
obscured by your hack journalism is that Hoover students perform at abysmal
Minnesota state median on MCAs, while only one-third of Twin Cities Academy
students are proficient in math, only 50% proficient in reading---

Mara---
The academic portion of the
Comprehensive District Design--- which even if you read, you most likely
did not understand--- is a jargon-infested document that offers no plan
for improvement in curriculum,
teaching, or academic achievement.
A "nice teacher" and
"fun game at recess" do not portend academic advance.
And whether ignorant, in denial,
or outright morally corrupt, neither you nor anyone at the >Star Tribune<
cares.

Alex---
Two children under age 10 dead; a 12 year-old gone; a
10 year-old recuperating from gunshot wounds--- and as long as abysmal
K-12 education promotes cyclical poverty at the urban core, young people will
be committed to mean streets leading to early psychic or physical
death--- as >Star Tribune< education reporters continue to do the
bidding of the establishment teachers and administrators responsible.
For assuredly, whether ignorant, in denial, or outright morally
corrupt, not a single reporter or columnist at the >Star Tribune<
cares---
With best wished---
