MPS Teaching and Learning Department Positions and Salaries >>>>> A Bloated, Overpaid, Dispensable Department---- Morally Abominable and Highly Culpable for the Academic Program of the Minneapolis Public Schools

As you scroll on down this blog, you will find achievement levels for academic years ending in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 for students of the Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS);  and a list of individuals at the Davis Center (central MPS offices 1250 West Broadway) with greatest responsibility for these results.

The key academic department at the Davis Center is the Department of Teaching and Learning, which currently lists a staff of 37 people.  Since this is the key MPS department for the implementation of policies pertinent to the academic program of the school district, this department is under my intense scrutiny as I refine my substantially complete book, Understanding the Minneapolis Public Schools:  Current Condition, Future Prospect.

I have had difficulty locating many of these staff members on my list of all Davis Center employees, suggesting that the staff listing for the Department of Teaching and Learning as given below may be outdated---  or that the comprehensive Davis Center list is not accurate.  Either way, this is a problem, consistent with a school district in disarray and very likely incapable of even properly identifying people currently on staff.

I had originally intended to present below all salaries for staff of the Department of Teaching and Learning but the discrepancy in the two lists presents a problem for which I will be seeking resolution very soon.

For now, examine the list below for a glimpse of the department now under Cecelia Saddler’s direction, as given on the MPS website for the Department of Teaching and Learning, along with a select presentation of salaries bestowed on certain members of the department.

After  perusing this list, review again the academic results for the years ending in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017---  and understand how morally abominable and highly culpable these people are for the achievement levels of students at the Minneapolis Public Schools.
