Key Decision-Makers for Academic Program of the Minneapolis Public Schools as of January 2018

Either by title and associated salary, or according to actual decision-making responsibility, the following list presents those people who have, or should have, responsibility for the academic program of the Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS).

Note that the total salary earned by these staff members at the Davis Center (Central Offices of the Minneapolis Public Schools, 1250 West Broadway) is  $2,322,724

In my substantially complete new book, Understanding the Minneapolis Public Schools:  Current Condition, Future Prospect, I ask hard questions about this decision-making staff as to why the academic performance of students is so low, while these staff members are paid so well.  In the pertinent chapter I ask why certain staff members have been given salary increases of up to $16,000 in a single year, when academic performance has been essentially flat for the last half-decade.

Please review this information for present reference and as context for future articles based on chapters from Understanding the Minneapolis Public Schools:  Current Condition, Future Prospect.
