There are seven key people in the
design and implementation of the academic program at the Minneapolis Pubic
Schools; there is also one person (Maggie
Sullivan) who is in the very difficult position of attempting to get the
necessary performance from woefully ill-trained and inadequate teachers. In my Understanding

academic failure in this school district and an analysis of the failures of
particular individuals.
