Minneapolis Public Schools Profiles, 2023-2024

The bulk of students in the locally centralized school district of the Minneapolis Public Schools attend thirty-eight PK-5 elementary schools;  the middle schools of Andersen, Anthony, Anwatin, Franklin, Northeast, Olson, Sanford, and Justice Page;  the PK-8 schools of Elle Baker Global Studies & Humanities and Sullivan STEAM Magnet School and the eight mainline high schools of Edison, North, Henry, Roosevelt, South, Southwest, Roosevelt, and Washburn.  In addition, there are a number of alternative schools (either contracted or administered directly by the district proper), specialized programs, and special purpose schools.

In the articles below, profiles for all of these schools are provided, in most cases including school location, contact information, description of distinctive qualities, student ethnic composition, student economic categories, number of special education and English Language Learners, and academic proficiency for academic years ending in 2014 through 2023.
