Below readers will find profiles for all specialized programs of
the Minneapolis Public, including school location, contact information,
description of distinctive qualities and, according to available information,
student ethnic composition, student economic categories, number of special
education students and English Language Learners, and academic proficiency for
academic years ending in 2014 through 2023.
Specialized Programs
Specialized
Programming is designed to meet specific community placement needs or the
requirements of a student's individual education plan (IEP). To receive
special education services, a student must first be evaluated and meet state
criteria. Once qualified, an Individual Education Plan (IEP) is developed for
the student. Programs and services are provided to students and their families
beginning at birth through age 21 or completion of a secondary education
program. Special education is also available for students who live in
Minneapolis that attend nonpublic schools.

Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) provides screening and intervention
services to families with children ages birth to kindergarten who are at risk
of having a developmental delay or have been identified with a developmental
delay or disability.

schoolhouses" in Minnesota.
Stadium View School

a Minneapolis Public School that provides educational services for students
detained at the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center or Hennepin County
Adult Detention Center. Nationally recognized for its ability to
effectively drive student performance and continuous improvement in education,
