Vote "No" on the 8 November Referendum of the Minneapolis Public Schools >>>>> Then Vote for School Board Candidates Tracine Asberry, Josh Reimnitz, Kim Ellison, and Kimberly Caprini

As you scroll on down this blog, please read my bevy of articles providing in great detail the many reasons why you should vote "No" on the 8 November referendum of the Minneapolis Public Schools.

Please cast that "No" vote tomorrow---  and then vote for school board candidates Tracine Asberry, Josh Reimnitz, Kim Ellison, and Kimberly Caprini.

Tracine Asberry is running for reelection in District 6.  Ms. Asberry is consistently the most discerning poser of questions that need to be asked at meetings of the Minneapolis Public Schools Board of Education.

Josh Reimnitz, in District 4, also merits reelection.  Reimnitz is a young school board member who operates independently of the education establishment and, like Asberry, can be an agent of the transformation that I have posited as necessary at the Minneapolis Public Schools.

Kim Ellison is running for the at-large seat vacated by Carla Bates, rather than the seat that Ms. Ellison has occupied in District 2.  Ellison is more beholden to the education establishment than is the case for Asberry and Reimnitz, but she is a calm and thoughtful presence on the school board and the best of the options available for this seat.

Kim Caprini deserves your vote as a new school board member who would represent District 2.  She is a much superior option to that provided by her opponent, who would be much more encumbered by status quo thinking and ties to the education establishment.

Vote "No" on the 8 November referendum of the Minneapolis Public Schools---  then vote for these school board candidates, who can be agents for the knowledge-intensive education for which our precious young people have been waiting a very long time.
