Academic Credentials of Minneapolis Public Schools
Middle and PreK-8 School Principals
There are eleven (11) schools in the Minneapolis
Public Schools that serve middle school students.
Ten of these schools are conventional middle schools
located at physical sites ranging across North, Northeast, South, and Southeast
Minneapolis; additionally, there is an
online school option for students and families who find the physical setting
unsuitable or untenable.
As is the case for elementary schools, those middle
schools located at physical sites are typically classified as either community
schools or magnet schools.
Most MPS sites for middles school students include only grades 6, 7, and
8. Exceptions are Andersen and Sullivan,
which are for students in grades preK-8.
Below find the degrees and certifications for those occupying positions as
MPS middle and preK-8 school principals.
