MPS Davis Center Staff  >>>>>

Moral Bulimia While on Ethical Vacation

Below I present poetic reflections #5 and #6.

The fifth poetic reflection focuses on the bulimia of moral guilt borne by Davis Center staff who inhabit a bloated bureaucracy.

Poetic Reflection #5

The Moral Bulimia of Minneapolis Public Schools Davis

Center Staff Doing the Bidding of Lisa Sayles-Adams

Immorality

pervasive,

ethics

evasive;

responsibility

evaded,

lives

traded:

personal

gain

from

children's

pain:

Everyone

kneeling,

reeling,

muttering,

sputtering,

caught in

evil

endemic,

immorality

systemic,

bloated

with the guilt

of the morally

bulimic.

The sixth poetic reflection focuses on the inclination of Davis Center staff to put any moral sensibilities aside in doing the bidding of MPS Superintendent Lisa Sayles-Adams.

Poetic Reflection #6

Ethical Vacation for Davis Center Staff Operating Under Putative MPS Superintendent Lisa Sayles-Adams

Children's futures

neglected,

familial pleas

rejected,

morality

invisible,

collusion

indivisible:

an abominable

sight,

Davis souls in

flight,

fleeing

shame,

shunning

blame,

and yet

just know:

You have

nowhere

to go,

with Omnipotence

discerning

your selfish

motivation,

for morality

languishing

on ethical

vacation.
