Your Factual Error Regarding the Career of Rochelle Cox at the Minneapolis Publlic Schools
December 1, 2022
Eder---
You revealed an appalling cluelessness in stating that Rochelle Cox served 25 years as associate superintendent of the Minneapolis Public Schools. The chances of anyone serving that long as associate superintendent are unlikely in the extreme.
In fact, the superbly talented Ms. Cox served first in the early childhood program, then had multiple positions in special education, including ultimately executive director and associate superintendent of special education; she then served as associate superintendent of the more general and typical sort before being tapped as interim superintendent.
Ms. Cox's tenure in associate superintendent positions lasted no more than 5 five years---
With best regards---
